MARTIN SHORE (Director/Producer/Writer) began his entertainment career at fourteen as a PA for his brothe’rs award winning 1977 film PUNKING OUT. As a musician Mr. Shore has toured with Bo Diddley, Albert Collins, Bluesman Willie, and many others. He has produced soundtracks and has acted as music supervisor for a number of feature films, including SAW, SAW II, RIZE, and ROCK SCHOOL, among others. He has been a music producer for a variety of artists, including Yo Gotti, Mavis Staples, Booker T. Jones, North Mississippi Allstars, and many others.

As a feature film producer, Shore’s films have been featured in many international film festivals around the world, including Cannes, Tribeca, Sundance, South By Southwest, Raindance, and the Los Angeles Film Festival. A partial list of his credits as film producer include: HOOD OF HORROR (2006), starring Snoop Dogg); Michael Cuesta’s TELL TALE (2009), starring Josh Lucas, and produced with Ridley and Tony Scott; Julie Delpy’s THE COUNTESS (2009), starring Delpy and William Hurt; 2001 MANIACS: FIELD OF SCREAMS (2010), and DARK TIDE (2012), starring Halle Berry.

As a Grammy-nominated producer Mr. Shore has toured most recently with Cody Dickinson and his band Hill Country Revue. He is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Sciences (Grammy Awards) and the Producers Guild of America.

Shore recently partnered with Academy Award®-winning visual pioneer John Gaeta to form Float Hybrid Entertainment, a “smart and sensor based” entertainment company founded in 2009. Float helped develop Kinect and was Microsoft’s only third party developer and now sits on the Kinect board at Microsoft. Float develops User Experience (UX) prototypes and Content (software) products for mobile devices, smart TV and connected platforms.

CODY DICKINSON (Producer/Original Score/Performer) is a founding member, along with his brother Luther of North Mississippi All-Stars. North Mississippi Allstars released their debut album, “Shake Hands With Shorty,” in the spring of 2000. Their debut proved to be a success and earned them a Grammy nomination for “Best Contemporary Blues Album.” After earning two more Grammy nominations in the same category for “51 Phantom” (2001) and “Electric Blue Watermelon” (2005), North Mississippi Allstars earned the reputation as one of the most intriguing acts to emerge from the loam of Southern blues and roots rock. Cody Dickinson has contributed to several major motion picture soundtracks, including BARNYARD, HOOD OF HORROR, and BLACK SNAKE MOAN. He had a recurring role on MTV’s “$5 Dollar Cover” series and appeared in G.I. JOE 2: RETALIATION, and the season premiere of “American Horror Story: Coven.”

As a producer, Cody has worked with a wide range of musicians including Lucero, Cisco Adler, and Les Claypool. He also produced British blues guitarist Ian Siegal’s last two albums, “The Skinny” (2011) and “Candy Store Kid” (2012), both of which were nominated for “Best Contemporary Blues Album” at the annual Blues Music Awards. Cody continues to be one of the industry’s premier drummers, demonstrated by his 2013 Blues Music Awards nomination in the

LAWRENCE “BOO” MITCHELL (Producer) is an American musician, songwriter, audio engineer, record producer and owner of Royal Studios in Memphis. His father, Willie Mitchell, operated Royal Studios and was Vice President of Hi Records. He produced and arranged music for a variety of acts including Al Green, Ann Peebles, Syl Johnson and Buddy Guy. Mitchell began working with his father at a young age, accumulating rare credits and abilities. His own career began at age seventeen when he played keyboard on one of Al Green’s gospel albums which later won a Grammy award. Mitchell continued to work on albums alongside his father. Willie Mitchell died in 2010, leaving Royal Studios to “Boo.” Since 2010, Mitchell has produced or engineered a wide range of acts including Barbra Blue, Jay Gaunt, Axelle Red, Brandon O. Bailey, Solomon Burke, Cody Chesnutt, Snoop Dog, Bobby Rush, William Bell, Keb Mo, Terrence Howard and Boz Scaggs.


JERRY HARRISON (Producer/Original Score) was a member of the Talking Heads from 1977 through their dissolution in 1995, He was a member of the Modern Lovers from 1971-1974. He has recorded three solo records and been a successful music producer since 1981. He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has won MTV’s video of the year, multiple Surround Awards and received Grammy nominations for both music production and album design. He has produced such artists as Violent Femmes, The Von Bondies, Live, Crash Test Dummies, The Verve Pipe, No Doubt Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and many more. He was the cofounder of now iLike — the predominant musical engine of social networks: Facebook, Hi5, and Orkut. He is on the board of directors of MicroUnity Systems, The Independent Online Distribution Alliance and iLike. He taught design at Harvard University. He received an A.B in Visual and Environmental Studies from Harvard College and studied Architecture at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard.


As an award-winning producer, DAN SAMEHA (Producer) has spent a large portion of his career working consistently on some of network television’s biggest shows, including “Big Brother,” “The Amazing Race,” “Celebrity Apprentice,” “Deal or No Deal,”and“Fear Factor.” Sameha has consulted on massive productions involving technical setups and budgets such as “If I Can Dream”and “Million Second Quiz.” Hewas also the key architect in the spatial design and technical setup of The Atlas Production Center; a 15,000 square foot editing facility in Los Angeles.

Sameha has dedicated himself to finding new opportunities for conducting a positive synergy between technology with creativity. He is currently producing his second music-infused feature film.


NATHAN BLACK (Director of Photography) grew up in the recording studio with his father, Andy Black, who was producing and engineering full time in Memphis. He went on to graduate from Full Sail in the late 90s and hit the ground running. In the first few years after graduating he had already worked on films by Francis Ford Coppola and Wes Craven. Nathan expanded his knowledge of sound and began shooting in early 2004. He went on to be the Director of Photography for Craig Brewer (HUSTLE & FLOW, BLACK SNAKE MOAN) on his series for MTV, “$5 Cover,” about the Memphis music scene. In addition to all the collaboration that happens in TAKE ME TO THE RIVER, Nathan was able to collaborate with his father, Andy, who was the sound mixer on the film.


Los Angeles native MAXX GILLMAN (Editor) got his start editing promotional materials for feature films, including Army of Darkness, I Am Legend, and Syriana. He has since moved his focus to independent features, and was recently first assistant editor on Dom Hemingway. Take Me To The River was a perfect confluence of elements for Gillman, as it combined his formative years as a drummer with his love of documentaries. Maxx is currently editing an upcoming independent horror feature, entitled The Dead Ones.
